Hake in white sauce

Ingredients

  • package of hake or cod fillets
  • semi-dry white wine, 350 ml
  • tablespoon of butter
  • half an onion
  • teaspoon of tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons of 18 % cream
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of lemon pepper
  • oil

Preparation

  1. Thaw the hake fillets, rinse, dry and cut into pieces.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and lemon pepper.
  3. Prepare the sauce: chop the onion and fry in melted butter, then add white wine.
  4. Bring to a boil and boil until about half of the wine has evaporated.
  5. Then add the mixed concentrate with cream.
  6. Fry the sliced and seasoned fillets in a frying pan in a small amount of olive oil.
  7. While frying, add the sauce and simmer covered for about 5-7 minutes until the fish is tender.

We recommend serving with a salad and blanched finely chopped vegetables. Enjoy!
